Below are the sub-varsity and varsity assignments for 2009. Please make sure you double check your schedule. The responsibilities of the #1 official is he will get the contract from the schools and it will have the game date, time, number of games and officials names on the contract. The official will sign the contract and return one copy to the school and keep one copy for the entire crew. The #1 official will determine the time and place the crew will meet to drive to the game. Only one person is paid the mileage from the school so it is important that you call to know who is driving. Some instances the #1 official will live in the town the game is played and the numbers 2, 3 and 4 officials will meet him there, so those officials will need to get together and determine when and where to leave. , if you are in the number 2, 3 or 4 position please contact the lead (#1) official at least one week prior to the game.
Because the #1 official is the crew chief it does not mean that he is automatically the referee. Many instances he will be, but when you call him you can discuss what position you would like to work and when there are double headers you can work one position in Game 1 and another in Game 2. If you cannot work the game you are assigned you must contact Steve Wynn one week prior to your cancellation. If the change is less than one week you must still contact Steve and then you will be responsible for calling other officials to find your replacement. You are also required to contact the #1 official to let him know who your replacement is. If you are the #1 it will be your responsibility to contact the other officials to let them know who is replacing you. Also, it is wise for the #1 official to notify the school of any changes because some of the schools have checks prepared ahead of time. If an official has been replaced, the replacement name will be bolded. If you did not have Microsoft Excel and can not call up the pages below go to the bottom of the page and click the Viewer icon and it will load a Microsoft Excel reader so you can access all Excel formatted sheets. Please remember that each crew is require to work a minimum of 25 nights. Crew Chiefs it is your job to stay on top of your crew members to make sure you meet this requirement. Please look over the games below, if you can fill in on one of the spots that are marked TBA, call Steve and he will assign you the game. 2009 Sub-Varsity Nightly Schedules:
